There is no need to stain or oil your MinifarmBox™. It will last up to 10-15 years in its current state. If you like the look of an oiled finish, be sure you use a safe, non toxic product, as harmful chemicals can leech into your soil. We recommend plain vegetable oil or raw linseed oil painted on with a brush. Do not use Boiled Linseed oil as it contains cobalt and Manganese. These ‘drying agents’ are toxic heavy metals. The same goes for polyurethane stains and sealers.
